MGM have now confirmed that Stargate SG-1 WILL NOT return for a season 11, instead they will release two movies (the first of which is said to tie up the Ori story-line) that will be released direct to DVD. The writers and producers are hoping that if the movies
have enough support that they will be able to continue the Stargate SG-1 saga, with direct to DVD movies on a yearly basis.
